繼老鷹想飛尋找神話之鳥與守護黑面琵鷺之後，擅長拍攝台灣鳥類紀錄片的導演梁皆得，耗時12年於近期再度推出飛吧！熊鷹，片中記載了瀕臨絕種的熊鷹的種種，包含熊鷹對於排灣族與魯凱族的意義，以及生存於深林中的生態現狀與保育情形，另充斥了不同視角所拍攝的熊鷹姿態，十分具有可看性。

熊鷹是台灣最大的留棲性猛禽，成鳥展翼可達 160 公分以上，外型極為壯碩，且全身以白色與深褐色的羽毛分佈，並帶有長串的菱形白色斑紋的羽毛，百步蛇的紋路極為相似，但近年卻因森林開發盜獵與天氣異常，讓熊鷹群面臨極大的生存考驗。

飛吧！熊鷹以屏東科技大學野生動物保育研究所教授開啟篇章，紀錄他自2003年起，帶著學生助理深入台灣的深山，一路攀山越嶺，只為捕捉熊鷹那稍縱即逝的身影，其中，最珍貴的畫面莫過於等候了五個月才拍得的熊鷹對爪求偶舞，導演梁皆得則談及其拍攝過程，2023年時10月起至隔年2月，他幾乎天天前往烏來福山部落守候，只為等待那轉瞬即逝的畫面：有時候像是拍攝的角度問題，或是對爪行為一瞬間就發生了，當下看到卻不一定能拍到，所以必須完全準備好在那邊等。我也很幸運地拍到了一次完整畫面，便呈現在電影當中。

除此，片中也收錄了大量與熊鷹共存在森林中的野生動物，包括水鹿黃喉貂獼猴野豬山羊與山羌等，讓人得以一窺各種台灣的山林動物，導演梁皆得說道：因為一直拍熊鷹，所以也會好奇熊鷹吃什麼，這也代表說，這些動物一定會在有熊鷹出沒的周遭活動，所以我們就在那邊架設監視攝影機，想拍拍看附近會有什麼動物出現，而這些動物也可以成為研究熊鷹的一部分。此外，他也談及攝影機就是擺在那邊，動物就會自然地做牠們的事情，不會因為有人在，就會緊張而表現不自然。
